#Review: GRAHAM (Scandalous Boys Book Two) by Natalie Decker | #Giveaway @AuthorNatDecker @SwoonRomance

GRAHAM
(Scandalous Boys #2)
by Natalie Decker
Swoon Romance: July 26, 2016

Graham Nichols’s main goal in life is to forget. Getting high, completely wasted, and running through a string of sexy blonds daily helps him achieve this task. But one night of partying lands him in a heap of trouble and sent back to the confinements of his hometown. Things can’t possibly get worse, right?

Sarah Morris can't seem to run fast enough away from her past. She’s spent months trying to amend her ways, and is doing a pretty good job. She’s getting good grades, isn't acting like a spoiled brat, and even works at the local grocery store. The last thing she needs is a distraction.

Enter Graham Nichols, the one mistake Sarah can't escape.

I have not read the other book, but I believe it is safe to say that you can read each book as a stand alone. This book follows Graham, who is mentioned in 'BRYCE' because he was with Maddy for a while before Bryce came into her life.

Right off the bat, you can tell Graham is super fun guy and there is a sense of gentleman in him. However, we do not know this until later. Along with this, we also learn he is still hurting from a broken heart that he is not really over yet.

This is definitely a story about a second chance at love. Sarah broke Graham's heart. She's done horrible things and she wishes she never did them. She's had a tough time with her parents and she resulted to doing these things out of spite. However, Sarah has chosen to change that, especially after what she's done to Graham.

When things get rough and Graham is court-ordered to a suspension from college, he returns home and must stay there for a year. The last person he expects to see in his hometown is Sarah. She should not be here. Graham has bitterness towards Sarah and of course, she knows he hates her for what she did. Here's the thing, even with his heart mangled on the floor, his feelings are trying to sneak their way back in. This is something he cannot allow.

Now, it is semi-predictable that Graham and Sarah will end up together again, but its gonna take a lot for each of them to get passed the hurt and the pain, and take a leap of faith. It is actually Graham who pushes through first, but Sarah is not entirely convinced he means it, because he pushed her away after an intense SURPRISE make-out session. Graham was trying to prove a point.

My Rating: 5 of 5 Stars.
I think what I liked best about this book was, obviously, Graham. His character shone from the first pages. It was to fall in love with him and to feel his struggles up until he gives in. And in a way, Graham is sensitive, but not wimpy at all. He's strong; protective of the people he cares about, especially Sarah. It went by too quickly and I actually want more of Graham and Sarah. I also want to see how Bryce and Maddy came together.
