TORN (A TATTERED DUET) BY BROOKE O'BRIEN | NEW RELEASE & REVIEW

Title: Torn
Series: A Tattered Heart Duet
Author: Brooke O'Brien
Genre: Contemporary Romance
Release Date: March 16, 2018

Ryan Blake is off limits.
She is everything I shouldn't want, but do.
She's my best friend's sister, so feelings for her are out of the question. Her passion and fire trigger a spark in the dark hollows of my heart.
Now she's turning eighteen, and my resolve is starting to wear thin.
I know I don’t deserve her, but I can't walk away.
No matter how my heart aches for her, I know I'll tear her heart in two.

Torn (Tattered Heart Duet #1)Torn by Brooke O'Brien
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I did it! I read this book in one day! I feel so pleased with myself and with this book! Friggin' Maverick! Friggin' Ryan! I could friggin' cry right now! This book tore me apart. Maverick's life is a mess. The only thing that keeps him going, and helps him forget, is his best friend's sister Ryan. Dean, Ryan's brother, already told Maverick to keep any such thoughts out of his head about her. I can just imagine the look Dean gave Maverick. And I am so freaking happy to have the next book sitting in my kindle for the weekend. That ending!

Disclaimer: I received an ARC of this book through Enticing Journey Book Tours. This does not change my honest opinion of this book.

RELEASING MARCH 30, 2018

Brooke O’Brien is the author of the Heart’s Compass series. She recently released the second book of the Heart's Compass series, Lost Before You.
Growing up Brooke always had a love of writing; she started out writing poetry when she was young and began journaling her thoughts as she grew older. Diving headfirst into a good book has always been therapeutic for her. Now her two passions have collided.
She believes you can cure any bad day with chocolate. Brooke enjoys going on long drives with no destination in mind. She's found that's when her characters talk to her the most! If she's not reading or writing, you'll probably find her spending time with her family, watching NBA basketball, going to the movies, or collecting signed paperbacks.
